Selecting a Customer
The BILL TO section appears on the right side of the editor. Click the search field (placeholder: "Search customer...") to open a dropdown of customers from your Customers board.
- Start typing a customer name. The dropdown filters as you type.
- Select a customer from the list. Their contact name, email, street address, and city are auto-filled below the search field.

One-Off Customers
If you need to invoice someone who is not in your Customers board, type a name and click away without selecting a dropdown result. The name is saved directly on the document as a one-off customer. No contact details are auto-filled.
Adding Line Items
Click the + button below the line items table to add a new row. Each new line item starts with a quantity of 1 and is marked as taxable by default.
Type in the Description field to search your Items board. An autocomplete dropdown appears with matching products and their prices. Selecting a product auto-fills the description, additional details, rate, and unit.
If you don't select a product, you can type a custom description and fill in the fields manually.
